Financial Aid 101 for Seniors in the library during SEER 

NOVEMBER 10th
Peter Koch, Executive Director of the NH Council for Professional Education will visit WLC to speak with Juniors and Seniors during SEER about Career Schools  
Career Schools are postsecondary, occupationally oriented education institutions.  These schools offer entry-level skills training focused on specific courses
 
November 12th & 13th
Common Application Demo in Guidance during SEER for all Seniors who want help
 
NOVEMBER 14th
College Access Convention at Keene State College
This field trip is for Sophomores and Juniors
 
NOVEMBER 24th
FUN Advisory activity (more to come)
 
NOVEMBER 25th
College Is Possible Day!  All students, staff and faculty will wear college apparel!  Teachers will discuss the college(s) they attended and share their experience(s)

 EARLY COLLEGE PROGRAM AT
NASHUA COMMUNITY COLLEGE

NCC has developed an Early College Program!  High school students can attend NCC and gain high school credit and college credit at the same time – cost?  $220.00 per course.

Enterovirus in Area

The City of Nashua Division of Public Health and Community Services recently sent information to our district about Enterovirus D-68 (EV-D68), a respiratory illness that can cause mild to severe cold and respiratory symptoms.  As of September 10, 2014, a total of 84 people across six states have been confirmed cases of EV-D68. The towns of Wilton and Lyndeborough are in the area that needs to be aware of this community health concern.  Please click on this link to learn more information.
